Program Supervisor:

The United Arc, a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Berkshire and Worcester counties of Massachusetts, is seeking a dynamic individual that will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for the Positive Parenting Program. This program provides in-home Parent Education and case management for parents living with a functional limitation. The program also includes supervising parent-child visits and facilitation of parent education groups as needed. There is primary concern for health and safety of individuals or families being served, fiscal responsibility, staff training and development, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, sound fiscal administration, ongoing supervision and training of staff, safety and security, respect for Human Rights, care coordination, facility management, business and community relations and resource development. Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma/GED

· Associates Degree preferred, in Social Work, Human Services or related discipline

· Two years’ experience working with families and individuals with special needs and one year supervisory experience preferred

· Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills

· Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations

· Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written

· Acceptable CORI, Fingerprinting background check, driver’s record check, DPPC Abuser Registry check, and Child Protective Services background check

· Valid driver’s license and access to an automobile

Family and Youth Services Case Worker For Youth Transition:

Seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to provide support services to our local at risk youth population with primary concern for health and safety of individuals and/or families being served, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, safety and security, respect for human rights, care coordination, and community relations. In this position, staff is responsible for maintaining an ongoing caseload of youth ranging from 10 to 21 years. Primary responsibilities are to provide mentorship, guidance and support to the youth that we serve, while maintaining a professional and supportive relationship with our funder(s). We strive to make a difference in the lives of our local youth and help them work towards becoming healthy, happy and successful members of the community. Minimum Qualifications – · High School Diploma/GED

· Associates Degree Preferred in Human Services or a related field

· Experience working with youth, particularly those in the at risk population

· Knowledge of the Department of Children and Families or child welfare

· Ability to work independently

· Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills

· Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations

· Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications.

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written

· Comfortable driving to new places and transporting youth/clients in your personal vehicle

Direct Support Professional – The United Arc, headquartered in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, which provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Worcester and Berkshire Counties of Massachusetts, is seeking dynamic and team-oriented individuals to provide services for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in individual’s own homes. Staff in these positions will assist the individuals we serve to have as much control as possible over his/her home, provide assistance in various areas including health maintenance, money management, shopping, cooking, ADL skills, socialization, establishing meaningful relationships and community involvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma / GED.

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

· Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to an automobile that can be used to transport individuals.

· Acceptable CORI and fingerprint check required.
