The Annual Gala & Auction is our major fundraising event with attendees including our most involved supporters: individuals, families, businesses and other regional community members. Bidding for auction packages begins at our Annual Business Meeting in May, continues on our website throughout the summer, and culminates with the Live and Silent Auctions at the Annual Gala & Auction on September 15. The United Arc's board members and our membership of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations gather every May to celebrate the work of The United Arc. We recognizing people who further our mission with awards, kick off our Auction season with five packages, and elect new members for our Board of Directors. Become a member today!
Coffee & Conversation
In February, we invite our legislators and community members to join us for a conversation on inclusion, choice, and independence! This event features the stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and advocates, speaking to the challenges and achievements of living with intellectual and developmental disabilities from their own experiences.
Our Open Houses celebrate the achievements of neighbors, friends, co-workers, and community members with intellectual and developmental disabilities! We have held open houses at our Turners Falls, Holyoke and Athol locations in recent years, with guests including legislators, business representatives, and community members.
